Before you buy

How does the cover attach to my ute?

It attaches via individual bunji stretch loops that are hooked over buttons riveted to the outside of the ute tub.

Can I carry loads that stick out past the tailgate?

Yes. One or more sections of the cover can be left unhooked, which gives you great flexibility when carrying loads that protrude from the rear of the tub.

How do I get full access to the tub?

The cover can be removed in less than 60 seconds for complete access to the tub. Putting it back on is just as easy.

Will water pool on the cover?

No. A zinc plated steel support bar keeps the cover tight and stops water pooling.

Easier than I expected

I read a couple of other reviews, but it's a work ute. So I didn't want to spend a tonne. Install was easy. It's not a $500 cover, and the support bar is annoying, but definitely worth the money.

Likes: The cover is reasonably priced and is dimensionally accurate.

Isuzu Tonneau

The cover is a good size fit for the D-Max, and is well made, but I have two criticisms:
1. The bunji loop connections to the cover need some reinforcement. Several of the holes in the cover have begun to open up - admittedly when under tension, but they look like they'll tear out eventually.
2. The cover is advertised as being suitable for use with a bed liner, but if the liner is installed, it's not possible to connect the clips on the front edge of the cover to the metal tray lip as per the fitting instructions. Its also not possible to connect the clips to the bed liner when it's fitted to the tray as there is no space to work between the tray/liner and the vehicle cab. The only option is to permanently (because otherwise it becomes dislodged when fitting the bed liner to the tray) clip the cover to the front of the bed liner while it's out of the tray, and then install the bed liner in the tray. This is quite difficult to achieve.
