FAQs
What tools do I need to install?
To fit one of our Wildback Canopies you wil require a drill, phillips head drill bit, 9mm drill bit, 3mm drill bit, 5 & 6mm allen/hex key, a 13mm spanner and a 17mm spanner. For exact requirements, see the fitting instructions available on each product page.
Do I need to remove my Sports Bars / Headboard from the tub?
In order to fit the Wildback Canopy you will need to remove your sports bars, headboard or ladder racks in order for the wildtrack frame to be mounted to the tub.
Do I need to remove my tonneau hardware from the tub?
In order to fit the Wildback Canopy you will need to remove any tonneau hardware that is situated on the top edge of the tub in order for the wildtrack frame to be mounted to the tub.
My tub has a tub liner fitted, will the Wildback fit?
As long as your tub liner goes "under rail" then the canopy will suit. If you have an "over rail" liner that comes up over the top edge of the tub then this product will not suit without extensive modifications to the liner.
Do I have to drill holes to fit this Canopy?
We try to pick up on the factory weld nuts when we can, however for most models you will be required to drill in up to 8 holes into the inside edge of the tub. See the fitting instructions available on each product page for specifics.
Can I keep the sides rolled up while in transit?
The magnets used to keep the sides rolled up are only meant for use when the vehicle is stationary.
