There's no external drilling of the body required. Depending on your model, the cover either suits the existing factory clip on rails or comes with low-profile aluminium extrusions that rivet inside the tub.

This clip on tonneau cover, as a replacement for a hard lid has streamline my Falcon ute now interupped air flow as the hard lid protuded past the cab line. Along with a weight reduction of approx 100kg. Reduced air tublance and noise, and increase in fuel economy, quite noticable as I regularly travel Echuca to Melbourne and return
